About 6 long, mounts by drilling two holes through the door. Solid brass door knocker, shiny finish, comes with attaching bolts and finish washers. I will tell you what I know, try to find out what I don't know.

This appears to be brand new and unused, but the box says Venetian bronze, which clearly this is not, so not sure what the deal is, but you are buying it as you see it.
